This is a stomach pumping from a trout on the Muskegon River in late
January.
What's the key component to this photo? This trout was selectively taking molting stones flies in conjunction with everything else. It pays to fish a white nymph in the winter. Come learn this and things like it with one of the many schools offered by John here at the Pere Marquette River Lodge.
