Brad Turner
Brad’s guiding experience begins in 1994 on the Kenai River in Alaska. He has been guiding on the Pere Marquette River since 1996. During this time he has worked for some of the most respected outfitters in the state. Brad has had the privilege of learning his craft from some of the oldest guides in West Michigan. He has an extensive knowledge of all the rivers in the region but the Pere Marquette is his back yard.

Brad has been gaining popularity as an authority on mousing for trophy browns. He has been featured in local and national fishing journals Michigan Trout and American Angler on this “cutting edge” technique.

Brad’s broad range of experience makes him a very versatile fly fisherman. He is also the only left-handed guide at Pere Marquette River Lodge. He has a very simplified teaching technique; coupled with his patient personality, this makes him a great choice as your guide. Whether you’re a youngster learning the sport or a seasoned veteran, Brad can put you on the fish.
